About Us
Edge Kids Life provides Long Day child care services for children aged between 6 weeks and school age.
Our Reynella Centre, established in 2008, is a 67 place facility located at 255 Old South Road, Reynella. Our Findon Centre is scheduled to open in the first half of 2012 and will cater for 60 children.
Edge Kids Life’s Centres are designed specifically to meet the needs of all children, parents and staff. We not only meet all national childcare centre standards, but actively endeavour to provide a warm, friendly and homelike environment that is a positive and stimulating age-appropriate learning environment for your child.
Our Mission
Edge Kids Life was established with the mission to serve the local community with quality Christian based education and childcare.
Our Philosophy
Edge Kids Life operates from a Christian perspective in which each child is highly valued, respected and nurtured as uniquely created with a God given purpose and place.
Each child attending Edge Kids Life is provided with a learning experience that fosters and encourages physical, social, emotional, spiritual and cognitive growth and development.
The Edge Kids Life program provides an inclusive, safe and caring environment encouraging independence, constructive problem solving, positive self-esteem, improved self-worth, and positive relationships within an extended social group.
Our Objectives
Edge Kids Life has 4 main aims:
- to operate a childcare facility based on Christian principles
- to advance the provision of positive education in learning for children
- to provide a safe and healthy early childhood development facilities
- to provide a community service that promotes and supports strong family values.
Centre Features
Some key features of an Edge Kids Life Centre include large, under cover outdoor play areas, and new, beautifully set up rooms for children of all ages.
The staff put a lot of effort and energy into programming and seek to meet all the needs and interests of each child, as well as providing for special areas like physical education, kindy program and art.
Hours of Operation
Our Centres are open from 6.45am to 6.15pm Monday to Friday throughout the year. We are closed on all Public Holidays.
Office Hours
Our office is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm daily. Appointments can be made outside of these hours if you are unable to come within these times.
