About Us
Edge Kids Life is a 67 place Long Day Care Centre, catering for children aged between 6 weeks and school age.
Edge Kids Life is located at 255 Old South Road, Reynella. The recently renovated childcare centre has been designed to meet the needs of all children, parents and staff. We not only meet all national childcare centre standards, but actively endeavour to provide a warm, friendly and homelike environment that is a positive and stimulating age-appropriate learning environment for your child.
Our Mission
Edge Kids Life was established with the mission to serve the local community with quality Christian based education and childcare.
Our Philosophy
Edge Kids Life operates from a Christian perspective in which each child is highly valued, respected and nurtured as uniquely created with a God given purpose and place.
Each child attending Edge Kids Life will be provided with learning experience that will foster and encourage physical, social, emotional, spiritual and cognitive growth and development.
The Edge Kids Life program will provide an inclusive, safe and caring environment encouraging independence, constructive problem solving, positive self-esteem, improved self-worth, and positive relationships within an extended social group.
Our Objectives
Edge Kids Life has 4 main aims:
- to operate a childcare facility based on Christian principles
- to advance the provision of positive education in learning for children
- to provide a safe and healthy early childhood development facility
- to provide a community service that promotes and supports strong family values.
Centre Features
The key features of the Centre include the large outdoor play area, the theatre room, and the new and beautifully set up rooms.
The staff put a lot of effort and energy into programming and seek to meet all the needs and interests of each child, as well as providing for special areas like physical education, kindy program and art.
Hours of Operation
The Centre is open from 6.45am to 6.15pm Monday to Friday throughout the year. The Centre is closed on all Public Holidays.
Office Hours
The Centre's office is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm daily. Appointments can be made outside of these hours if you are unable to come within these times.
